A fabulous spanish orange wedding at Villa Padierna

We loved creating this wedding, the colour scheme presented to us by the bride's hugely creative mother, Cheryl, was a fabulously dramatic spanish orange combined with black and white. We had a few deliberations changing the chair bows from orange to white about two weeks before the wedding as the bride did not do Easyjet!
The breathtaking venue, Villa Padierna, is always a dramatic setting to decorate (and also very hot!)
This was really the last day of the extremely high temperatures here in Spain this summer, we all got burnt yet again! I spend my life trying to undo strap and flip flop marks created whilst I am out working!
We provided a full length aisle runner running from the top of the steps, down the aisle, under the gazebo and up to the chapel, dressed the aisles with white swags topped off with bowls of water filled with white petals on the end of each pew.
Our gazebo and the bridge were decorated with floating white fabrics, elegant asparagus ferns, white flowers and a touch of orange.
The bridal bouquet was a fabulous vintage style spray and the bridesmaids orange bouquets looked stunning against their black dresses.
Fans were created to match the theme with orange ribbons and a black diamante detail, with personalised name tags, orders of services bought by Cheryl, were also finished off with orange ribbons completing the orange theme.
The reception was adorned with our wonderfully tall vases filled with spanish oranges and topped with white and orange floral arrangements, surrounded with jasmine, stephanotis and floating white tealights with orange petals in.
A truly spectacular wedding day, our thanks to Cheryl and her family for involving us.
I am looking forward to my pre booked coffee with Cheryl at the beginning of November to have a photo viewing of the professional shots and to remind ourselves of how hot it was!

The September Wedding Whirlwind

Firstly my apologies for not blogging, September has just been a whirl of weddings!
We have created some fabulous weddings these past few weeks and here is just a snippet of them, with some lovely colours and themes, and all very different.
So much depends on the venue you are having your wedding at, as to what themes, colours, etc you have. Some venues lend themselves to a certain decoration but we found this month, with a combination of the brides visions and very different styles, we had a whirl of creativity to produce a wide range of ideas and details to make each wedding so different, it was hard work but such fun as many of these weddings were back to back.
Having since received so many lovely thank you's, emails, letters and cards, we are over the moon that we were able to create so many dream days that were perfect.
We would like to thank all of our customers in 2009 for allowing and trusting us to help them create their visions of their special day.
As the next few weeks go by we will post as much as possible, and will of course nag the photographers involved for their beautiful images to share with you and we hope inspire you.
I am sure many of the photographers are dreading my emails as I know they too have been extremely busy, they know who they are :)!!!
But here goes, just a sample of some of the beautiful and fabulous weddings we have created over the past few weeks. Excuse our snapshots!
A fabulous Spanish orange and white themed wedding at Villa Padierna with our extremely long white aisle runner! Needless to say it was hot, and we yet again all got burnt!
A beautiful wedding at the Hotel Duquesa, Estepona, hot pinks, golds and elegant candlelabras.

A glamourous, gothic deep red and crystal wedding at Tikitano Beach Restaurant

An amazing gold and aqua colour scheme with a gold shells as a theme at the very trendy Nikki Beach.

We loved our chuppah created between four palm trees, however it was rather windy though so more details soon as we create our individual posts on each wedding :) It stayed up long enough that is all I am saying!

A fabulous, elegant floral affair at Puente Romano, with lemons, pinks, limes and oranges and lots of beautiful crystals, we love them!
A magical garden wedding in a private villa in Cancelada, with our lantern and candle pack and our garden gazebo decorated with local foliage

A romantic red wedding with lots of magical candles and lanterns at Villa Padierna
A stylish olive green and lavender wedding at Guadalmina Hotel, we have all decided here at Reviva Weddings that our olive sashes are probably the most classiest colour! We love them :)
Four more weddings this weekend that we are looking forward too x
